5 Changing the mode of thinking PRS Goals for Tuition and Parent Ownership of contributing to a viable school model: 1) Make the highest quality education a reality for all children through affordable tuition while building tuition to a sustainable percentage of operating expenses. 2) Provide a system for parents to build a network of support within themselves and their own personal resources to raise donations to cover a percentage of operating expenses. 3) Remove the perception of lack associated with school-provided financial assistance and give parents the power to provide their children with a (out-of-this) world class education.

6 The P.O.W.E.R Fund Parents Organizing Ways to Ensure Resources Parents are responsible for raising a $100 donation per month per child that attends PRS –($1200 annually) The donations can be a contribution of their own or through a self developed support network (i.e. relatives, friends, neighbors, etc.) The POWER fund is essentially “owned” by the parents of PRS and donations to this fund will be facilitated through the Parent Committee All contributions to the POWER Fund are tax deductible Parents are encouraged to maximize efforts for contributions to the POWER fund to build additional reserves for future years Annual contribution to the school Tuition (K-7)$3050 POWER fund contribution$1200 Total for the school year$4250 Tuition (Pre-K)$1550 POWER fund contribution$1200 Total for the school year$2750
