Students in Western states may enroll in participating two-year and four-year public college programs at a reduced tuition level up to 150% of the institution’s regular resident tuition In all cases, WUE tuition is considerably less than nonresident tuition

9. WUE : Western Undergraduate Exchange Resident: A student who currently resides in the same state as the university they plan to attend. Non-Resident: A student who does not currently reside in the same state as the university they plan to attend. Reciprocity: When a state has agreements with neighboring states to provide lower tuition for residents to attend public colleges and universities in those states. Typically, non-resident admission fees and tuition are reduced (or eliminated) if you're a reciprocity student.
