3. SO WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP?!?

INTRODUCTION Mission Statement – Threefold 1.To reward undergraduate brothers who devote their time and effort into following the five values of Phi Gamma Delta. 2.To provide a means so that graduate brothers may give back to the Theta Tau chapter of Phi Gamma Delta in which they became a part of during their college days. 3.To motivate and encourage current undergraduate brothers to excel in all aspects of college life and to follow the three priorities of scholarship, fraternity, self. The foundation exists solely to benefit undergraduate brothers who spend their hours working for the fraternity and pursuing academic excellence. All proceeds shall go directly to undergraduate brothers with specific instruction as provided by the donator.

5. HOW IT WORKS… The foundation allows you to create a scholarship for undergraduate brothers without any limitations. May have as many or as few guidelines for applicants as you wish. Freedom to tailor the scholarship however you want. May name the scholarship however you wish. One person or a group of people (pledge class…) You know where you money is going! No maximum/minimum amount restrictions.

6. AFTER SCHOLARSHIP IS CREATED… 1.Scholarship Foundation Chairman gives a list of scholarships and their requirements to the scholarship chair of the fraternity. 2.Scholarship chair announces/posts applications and requirements. 3.Brothers turn in applications/requirements for scholarships to scholarship chair. 4.Scholarship chair and Scholarship Foundation Chairman sorts applications and forwards all eligible undergraduate brothers to the graduate brother(s) from which the scholarship was created. 5.Graduate brother(s) select a recipient that is to be awarded scholarship.

7. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What will my money be going towards? The money that you donate will go to help an undergraduate brother based upon the criteria that you have placed within your Scholarship Foundation Form. When will this foundation begin funding undergraduates? The foundation shall be distributing scholarship funding to undergraduate brothers beginning in the fall semester. What if I want to pair with another brother to create scholarship? The scholarship may have as many people donating to it as you can find! You can form a group of two, three, four, or more brothers to fund the scholarship. Will my money be spent on other areas of the chapter? No. The money that you donate will be spent ONLY where you specify.
