1 1 Enrolling in HAN HAN Enrollment is now available on a self-service dashboard in MyEnergy! The customer will log into their MyEnergy account

2 2 Enrolling in HAN On the overview page, the Home Area Network link is available ‘Additional Services.’

3 3 Enrolling in HAN The customer will arrive on HAN Dashboard.

4 4 Enrolling in HAN All eligible meters are located at the bottom of the page. If the customer has more than one account or address, they can select the address where they’d like to have their HAN device from following drop down options: Choose account Choose address NOTE: see slide #35 for ineligible customer example

5 5 Enrolling in HAN Next, the customer will select ‘Register New Device.’

6 6 Enrolling in HAN The device registration screen will appear. The customer will fill out the following required fields: Device Name: free form (ex. John Smith’s HAN Device )

7 7 Enrolling in HAN Make Model: must choose from the dropdown options If customer chooses ‘other’ the field allows them to enter content free form but has a 32 character maximum. They will also be required to fill out the following fields: Manufacturer: free form and no requirements Model: free form no requirements Device type: must choose from dropdown***

8 8 Enrolling in HAN MAC Address: must be 16 digits. The field will automatically display 16 spaces for the customer to enter their digits Install Code: free form but 32 character maximum Select ‘Next’

9 9 Enrolling in HAN The device confirmation page will display to review entered info & submit To make changes, select ‘Previous’ to return to the last screen.

10 10 Enrolling in HAN To restart and re-enter info, press ‘cancel’ & ‘yes’ on this pop-up screen.

11 11 Enrolling in HAN Register New Device success page will display. Next the customer will select ‘Join’ to pair their device to their meter.

12 12 Enrolling in HAN The Join Device Start Countdown page will display. To join their device, the customer will select ‘Start.’ The meter will be ‘open’ for nine minutes for the device to pair***

13 13 Enrolling in HAN The countdown begins! The screen advises to not navigate away from page (entire 9min must pass for the device to successfully join) Allows a maximum of 3 tries to attempt to pair the device. If all 3 attempts failed, they will contact the HAN number for assistance.

14 14 Enrolling in HAN The “Join” success page will display. The customer should now begin seeing their energy usage in near- real time on their HAN device.

15 15 Enrolling in HAN If no meters are listed, the customer is ineligible*** If a customer is ineligible, they will call for more information. The following customers will see the ineligible page: Large C&I: they will remain ineligible KV2C meter customers: meter change and manual enrollment Solar customers: GE i210 2S = meter change and manual enrollment Focus 2S= eligible but need to be manually enrolled

16 16 Enrolling in HAN – Editing a Device To edit device info: Locate device on the HAN Dashboard Expand the Meter Badge ID NOTE: only device name and the meter it is associated to can be edited. All device information (i.e. MAC address, install code) cannot be changed***

17 17 Enrolling in HAN – Editing Device Information All of the HAN devices associated to this meter will display. The customer will select ‘Edit.’ Users cannot delete a device, but can edit the device name NOTE: if incorrectly entered MAC address or Install code, device will still be listed here, but unjoined

18 18 Enrolling in HAN – Editing Device Information The device information page will display. Here the customer can manually edit the following fields: Device name, Account, Address, or Meter Badge ID. Once they have edited the information, they can select ‘Next.”

19 19 Enrolling in HAN – Editing Device Information Warning message will appear to confirm any edits attempted for Account, Address or Meter Badge ID A confirmation page will appear to review change details. The customer will select ‘continue’ to complete the change.

20 20 Enrolling in HAN – Editing Device Information If the customer attempts to change the Device Name, no warning message will appear. There will simply be a confirmation page to review the details of the change. The customer will select ‘Submit.’ The changes will be saved.

21 21 Enrolling in HAN – Unjoining a Device Customer may want to unjoin due to moving or giving their device to someone else. To unjoin device from meter… expand the Meter Badge ID

22 22 Enrolling in HAN – Unjoining a Device The customer will select ‘Un-join.’

23 23 Enrolling in HAN – Unjoining a Device A warning message will appear asking the customer to confirm that they would like to unjoin their device. The customer will select ‘Un-join Device.”

24 24 Enrolling in HAN – Unjoining a Device The device will unjoin from the meter. A success page will not appear. The customer will know that their device has been unjoined by seeing a ‘join’ option on their main HAN dashboard.
