Tracked throughout the building Reviewed by Principals and Guidance Counselors on a Daily Basis Used for infractions of Procedures, Routines, Expectations or Low Level 1 Offenses Tied to Dances, Assemblies, other School Sponsored Functions Positive Rewards will be given for those students with “few or no” Warning Cards All Warning Cards will reset back to “0” after the end of EACH MARKING PERIOD! Consequences become more severe quicker!!

When a student does not meet expectations a Warning Card may be issued The student will fill in the information (name, date, offense) and return it immediately to teacher Refusal to complete Warning Card will result in a Misconduct Form

Warning Cards may be issued for infractions of the following: Classroom Procedures, Routines, and Expectations RAMS Rules Lower Level 1 Offenses from the Student Code of Conduct Misconduct Forms are to be completed for other Level 1 Offenses or Greater

These WILL Be Misconducts not Warning Cards Disruptive for a Substitute Talking back to the teacher Refusal to do work Inappropriate language Hitting/Kicking/Tripping other students Stealing

A student is issued a Warning Card for every THIRD time he/she is unprepared for class. This includes the following: ▪ Materials ▪ Textbooks ▪ Homework Must be three times for the same teacher

LUNCH DETENTION After 3 Warning Cards (Referred to Guidance Counselor) AFTER SCHOOL DETENTION After 6 Warning Cards (Referred to Principals/Guidance Counselor) 1 DAY OF ISS After 9 Warning Cards (Referred to Principals/Guidance Counselor) ▪ Student Ineligible for School Sponsored Activities the Remainder of the Marking Period. 2 Days of ISS After 12 Warning Cards (Referred to Principals/Guidance Counselor) 3 Days of ISS After 15 Warning Cards (Referred to Principals/Guidance Counselor)

Students earning fewer than 3 Warning Cards will be eligible for a reward at the end of each marking period. Rewards could come in the form of: Parties Special Assemblies Fun Days Dances Students earning 0 Warning Cards for the year will be eligible for a “larger” reward at the end of the school year.
