Questions: STARS Fiscal & Grant Management 1.Should “OCDEL Total Allocation Amount” calculation be available in real-time or should it be calculated via a batch job? 2.Should the rolled-up grant sub-category information be displayed on the Grant Category Summary page or on the Grant Category Details page? 3.If the Grant Status is still pending, should the user be allowed to enter any information in the Amount Approved field? 2

STARS Fiscal & Grant Management Business Rules 1.At least one Key Region must be selected from the “Yearly Allocations Summary” table for the “Yearly Allocations Summary Details” to be displayed. 2.The “Pending Grant” is the sum of all the “Amount Approved” on the Grant Summary page with a Grant Status of pending. 3.The Pending Grant, Approved Amount, Funds Returned, Remaining Allocations, Actual Spent, Unspent Funds will be auto-calculated from the “Grant Summary” page. 4.The Remaining Allocations field will be auto-calculated after the Original OCDEL Allocations field is populated. The Remaining Allocations is calculated by subtracting the Approved Amount from the OCDEL Original Allocations amount. 3

They both have the same report parameters. 3.Is there any report that needs to be generated in real time or should they all be generated via a scheduled batch job? 4.What is the order of importance of each of the reports? 8
