3. The adjective used must agree in gender and number with the person or thing that appears first in the comparative sentence. Les hommes sont aussi i ntelligents que les femmes. 4. When comparing people, we can use stress pronouns. The stress pronouns are: moi ( me ) nous ( us ) toi ( you ) vous ( you, you guys ) lui ( him ) eux ( them (at least one male)) elle ( her ) elles ( them (all female)) Je suis plus patient que toi. ( I’m more patient than you.) Nous sommes aussi sportifs qu’ eux. ( We’re as athletic as them.)
