Corporate Sponsorship Proposal COMMUNITY OUTREACH – “Take A Kid to the Game” We propose that Covenant Health System sponsor the “Take a Kid to the Game” Program which includes the Committee for Champions Take a Child Promotion as an added benefit. Take A Kid to the Game Overview This program provides the opportunity for a child to experience a college game when accompanied by an adult. It opens the door for the motivation a child needs to strive to excel in school in order to end up as a college student and maybe even a student athlete. Committee for Champions Take a Child to the Game Overview Texas Tech University and the Committee for Champions bring in Lubbock-area underprivileged children and pairs them up one-on-one with a Tech student for a day of fun and football. This provides the school-aged child with the opportunity to see first-hand that college is an obtainable goal. The program is designed to encourage the youth of Lubbock and the surrounding area to stay in school and promote Texas Tech as a university option. This also allows Covenant and the Lubbock community to rally around a worthy cause while creating a public relations opportunity to promote these first-class efforts. (Continued On Next Page)
