2 Outreach Ideas: 1) Who do you already have? Military families College students Senior citizens Immigrants/Internationals Dog lovers Artists/Musicians Special needs children Foster children

3 Outreach Ideas: 1) Who do you already have? Deaf/Blind Etc…. A) Photographic memory Offer free photos for community events and post on church website, which also displays the gospel. B) A worship/praise team Play secular music during community events and in public businesses.

4 Outreach Ideas: 1) Who do you already have? C) Baseball coaches Teach character through baseball; create baseball training center; applies to other sports as well. D) Cooking Huge interest in cooking shows right now; offer classes for healthy cooking.

5 Outreach Ideas: 1) Who do you already have? E) Auto Repair Take non-working, but repairable cars and fix them to give to needy families. Men can also mentor troubled teens by teaching them how to fix cars. F) Oil change ministry Oil change ministry to single mothers; also offer car advice.

7 Outreach Ideas: 1) Who do you already have? K) Empower ethnic leaders Ethnic leaders are encouraged to start ministries on the campus of the church in order to reach ethnic communities. L) Migrant worker ministry Greet workers with basic hygiene products, shuttle services, etc.

B) Hire unbelieving construction workers Church members must minister to construction workers all week long; given a Bible; must attend a devotional with pastor; meals are provided.

9 Outreach Ideas: 2) What do you already have? C) Chairs Offer free folding chairs to the community. D) Sermon series 3x a year, design a sermon series for outreach. Needs-based sermons. Kick off series with a big event. E) VBS Re-package VBS – free day camp. Publicize in local schools.

G) Prison ministry Drive families/friends to prison for visitation. Offer transition ministry. H) Faith & football Host a Monday night football gathering; Bible study at half-time.

12 Outreach Ideas: 3) Be their Christ in the crisis. Your church should be the hub of help in the community. A) Be a Red Cross station in the case of a crisis. B) Provide free counseling. C) Be active in helping area schools on an ongoing basis – painting, picking up trash, etc. D) Have church members trained in disaster relief.

Can be as easy as creating “welcome” baskets for member to take to their new neighbors – church brochures are also included. Give “welcome mat” with church brochure. C) Short-term missions D) Comedy nights E) Rescue the rescuers Deliver food staples to local fire station, as well as offering 1 cooked meal a week and counseling.
