6. EDUCATION FULL TEXT  Education Full Text provides full indexing and abstracting of almost 700 education journals and magazines; of these, 284 are available in full text. Subjects covered include all areas of education: K-12, higher education, special education, and adult education. The publications vary from scholarly peer-reviewed journals to more popular education magazines. Thus, the database is useful for persons at all levels of knowledge. 7. ERIC EBSCOHOST  ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center, provides access to education literature and resources. The database provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. The database contains more than 1,243,000 records and links to more than 224,000 full-text documents from ERIC. Contents

8. Searchaurus (Grades 1-3)  Searchasaurus contains full-text for more than 50 popular, elementary school magazines. Full-text is also available for over 100 student pamphlets, an encyclopedia and a dictionary. Full-text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles).  Teachers can use this database to search by clicking the “Teacher’s Resource” link. Contents

TOPICsearch (Grades 5-12)  This current events database allows researchers to explore social, political & economic issues, scientific discoveries and other popular topics discussed in today's classrooms. TOPICsearch contains full text for over 92,700 articles from more than 2,500 diverse sources, including more than 1,550 full text periodicals.  This database provides a pull-down menu where you can choose from a list of current events. 10. Kids Search (Grades K-5)  Kids Search contains full text for over 50 popular, elementary school magazines, over 100 student pamphlets, an encyclopedia and a dictionary. Students can search a category by clicking a picture. Contents

11. Junior edition (Grades 6-8)  This periodical database is designed for students in junior high and middle school with access to a variety of indexed and full-text magazines, newspapers and reference books for information on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports and more.  In “Advance” search you can use more than one “keyword” or search term to find articles. The database uses “Boolean operators” (and, or, not) to retrieve articles. Contents

12. Primary Search (Grades K-5)  Primary Search provides full text for nearly 70 popular, magazines for elementary school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles), and full text information dates as far back as 1990.  This database is also for teachers. It offers under “Refine Search” choices for narrowing the search criteria. This database features a “peer review” article search. Contents

Info Trac junior (Grades K-12)  Info Trac Junior is designed for students in junior high and middle school, with magazines, newspapers and reference books (most are full-text) for information on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports and more.  Type a topic or select one of the colorful “publication types” to begin a search. MAS Ultra – High School (EBSCOhost)  This comprehensive database, designed specifically for high school libraries, contains full text for more than 500 popular, high school magazines including America’s Civil War, American Heritage, American History, Archaeology, Astronomy, Bioscience, Careers & Colleges, Civil War Times, Congressional Digest, Discover, Economist, History Today, Nation, National Review, New Republic, New Scientist, Popular Science, Science News, Scientific American, Smithsonian, World War II, etc. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Full text is also available for 85,670 biographies and 105,786 primary source documents. Additionally, MAS Ultra – School Edition contains more than 360 reference books (including the Columbia Encyclopedia, the CIA World Fact Book and World Almanac & Book of Facts), an Image Collection of 341,655 photos, maps & flags, color PDFs and expanded full text backfiles (back to 1975) for key magazines. JSTOR  Subject Area: Anthropology & Archaeology, Economics, Education, Ethnic Studies, History, Languages, Literature, Mathematics, Politics, & Social Sciences Full Text:  JSTOR is a database providing indexing and full text access for about 500 peer-reviewed scholarly journals in 42 disciplines. Coverage is heavily weighted toward social sciences and humanities. The titles covered are almost exclusively oriented toward the scholar (senior or higher academic level), but some articles may be appropriate for use by lower level undergraduates. Contents
