Next you will be asked to perform an action to show if you think he plant or animal is: Harmless to ecosystems– not invasive Harmful to ecosystems – invasive Then you will be shown the author’s answer. Don’t be afraid to make your best guess. Please pause to discuss answers you don’t agree with.

Practice the actions a shown in the following slides then play the game. Try to go as quickly as you can. The reason the Grinch is showing you the actions is because I am writing a story called, “How the Grinch Stole Fishing.” (He steals fishing by introducing invasive species and fishing gets wrecked for everyone. He eventually sees the errors of his ways and catches the first trout!)
