F. A. RIMAGINE THAT! Elephant – Weaknesses (Subconscious) Wants what it wants ‘now’ and does not like to make a short-term sacrifice for long-term payoff. F. A. RIMAGINE THAT! The Rider – Weaknesses (Conscious) Is at the whim of the Elephant and can serve only as a kind of “advisor.” Has a natural tendency to see mostly the negative and over-analyze (analysis paralysis). Has limited reserves of mental energy. Will-power and decision-making can sap its resources.

F. A. RIMAGINE THAT! Rider – Strengths (Conscious) Can look into the future and visualize alternate paths of choice and – make a plan. Is a master storyteller The Rider loves to make up and tell stories, even if many of the stories are a complete confabulation and often a rationalization. Can influence but not control the Elephant with vivid, emotionally charged pictures and images.
