4 Christmas is when the children hit a pinata on Christmas Eve.When a kid breaks the pinata the kids scramble on Christmas Eve.The pinata is full of gifts and candy.The kids carry figures of Mary and Joseph.They ask for a lodge on Christmas and a place to sleep.

5 Independence Day is having colorful festivals. Every city, town and village also hold a yearly feasts.

6 Guadalupe Day is when Virgin is believed to have made a sign of her appearance.They built a shrine for Mary that told Juan Diego to tell all of Mexico to build the shrine 140 years ago by a hill.Juan Diego told bishop first in Mexico city but the bishop did not believe him.When he showed the bishop Mary the bishop believed him.When Mary appeared at the hill in Mexico City.They go to the hill on Guadalupe Day and go into the shrine every Guadalupe Day.Now the hill is important on Guadalupe Day.The shrine is important too.

7 Valentines Day is important.It is celebrated a lot because it is the day of friendship.People like to fire rockets {bottle rockets mostly.}They cook nice things to eat and buy things like cake and pop.They celebrate a lot at schools too by bringing big cake and bringing pop.The family gets together at a house and celebrate it.

8 Easter is when they go to church and sometimes they walk with no shoes and that is crazy to some people in Mexico.
