3 Chapter 30 (Montgomery) Eligibility: Enlisted after July 1, 1985 Paid $100 per month for the first 12 months of service Honorable discharge Have not exceeded the 10-year delimiting date 6 credit allowance for drops (1606, 1607, 35 as well) Monthly Stipend

4 Chapter 31 (Voc. Rehab) Eligibility: Suffered a service-connected disability while on active duty and need vocational rehabilitation as a result of their disability VA disability of 20% or greater Monthly Living Allowance

5 Chapter 33 (Post 9/11) Eligibility: Active Duty, Reservists and National Guardsmen who have served on active duty for more than 90 days following 9/11/2001 Based on months served, entitlement ranges from 40% to 100% Payment: T&F, Book & Supply Stipend and BAH

6 Chapter 33 TOE Eligibility: Dependent(s) and/or spouse of Active Duty veterans Transfer was applied for while on active duty Transfer of entitlement must be approved through the veterans' branch of service and DOD.

7 Chapter 35 (DEA) Survivors and Dependents Educational Assistance for dependents of veterans Spouses and/or Children (ages 18-26) are eligible if the veteran has a 100% service connected disability or the veteran's death was service connected Monthly Stipend

8 Chapter 1606 Eligibility: if you incurred a 6-year enlistment in the Selected Reserves or National Guard after July 1, 1985 completed the initial active duty training are serving in good standing of your unit you have not passed the 14-year delimiting date. Monthly Stipend (Kicker Available)

9 Chapter 1607 Eligibility: Reserve Education Assistance Program (REAP) Member of Selected Reserves or National Guard called to active duty for AT LEAST 90 days after 9/11/2001 Must have been in response to a war or national emergency Monthly Stipend: 2 or more years continued service 1 year but less than 2 90 days less than year

10 National Guard Educational Assistance Program (EAP) Eligibility Enlist or Re-enlist for 6 years Complete Basic Serve in a drilling Unit Complete EAP form 1 and PHEAA Promissory Note Fall & Spring Term app deadline June 30 th Pays 100% Tuition (Does Not Pay Fees!)

11 Federal Tuition & Additional Assistance (FTA) Eligibility Must be member of ARNG or Reserves Must remain within drilling unit for term using FTA May use with MGIB (unless utilizing kicker) Pays 100% Tuition and Fees (cap 250$ per semester hour) $4,500 Fiscal Year Max Apply @ www.GoArmyEd.comwww.GoArmyEd.com

12 Tuition Assistance (TA) Eligibility Active Duty, Reserves, Guard Each Branch has different application procedures Pays 100% Tuition and mandatory Fees with ceiling of $4,500 Mandatory fees include course enrollment does not include fees such as application, graduation, etc.
