3. The Center for Textbook Cost Reduction Process  Self-sustaining organization through sales of required materials  Profits split between the professor, textbook center and Textbook Cost Reduction organization  Employed by graphic design students  Encourages students to purchase material

4. The Center for Textbook Cost Reduction Aspects  Chancellor of SUNY emphasized the need for more efficient learning opportunities  Professors are not allowed to use copyrighted materials during the lectures  Design students use this organization as a part of their curriculum

5. The Center for Textbook Cost Reduction Markets  Targets general education courses  Goal is to have at least 10 courses at each college that is participating in this organization  Four courses in the School of Business and Liberal Arts have already committed

6. The Center for Textbook Cost Reduction Structure  Organization board consists of design students from participating colleges as well as members from SUNY Canton College Association  Advisors from School of Business and Liberal Arts and from Graphic Design
