1. Casey Cacitti The Seeker and Beyond

2. Sunset on the course For me, this picture characterizes the goal of the Seeker, “to search for a better life or a better way” (Pearson). Every time I look into a sunset I think of where my better life may be.

3. Back Home San Francisco is my home town. I love this place forever, but the seeker in me makes me want to explore outside of this place. Over the years I have been able to do so, and I am grateful for doing it, but I still have a spot in my heart for where I come from.

4. Places of Beyond This place represents my desire to go to far off places where one can feel a sense of Autonomy. Even though this is Lake Tahoe, being on the top of a mountain like this is indescribable!

5. My new backyard Just when you think you know your town pretty well, go a little higher than normal. The Seeker responds to the call of Spirit- to ascend. On the top of Camelback Mountain, I realize how much more there is around me than I would normally see, making me want to seek out what really lies in this still new city for me.

6. Escape This picture makes me embrace my willingness to escape and leave. A lot of people are content being in this bay, but I am one who wishes to see what is outside the bay and past that bridge.

7. Companion As I go on through life, seeking the unknown and going places that I don’t know, I have a companion to wander with me. This dog protects me and will aid me in our pursuit for the better life.
