LOCAL OFFICERS Parish and Territory

CFM Parish Composed of at least two (2) units Chair is elected by all CFMers in the Parish She/He can either be a Solo or a Couple. Secretary and the Treasurer of the Parish are appointed by the Chair Parish Chair, together with the Unit Leaders are qualified electors for the Territory Director Thus a parish with two (2) units is entitled to three (3) votes. 2Local Officers

Duties: Parish Chair 1.Visit Units during their meetings at least once per year 2.Sets regular meetings of the Parish Board 3.Consolidates the annual plans of the Units in the parish. 4.Provide the training needs of the parish 5.Attend Diocesan Execom meetings, if any 6.Consults Chaplain on formation programs 7.Appoint the heads of standing committees 8.Ensure collection and remittance of fees 3Local Officers

Duties: Parish Secretary Update membership data Remind members oDate of Parish Board meeting oDate of Parish Assemblies oAction on circular letters Record minutes of meetings, etc. Liaison with the Secretary of Units and the Diocese Assists the Parish Chair, as assigned 4Local Officers

Duties: Parish Treasurer Collect membership dues, covenant pledges and donations and remits them to Diocesan Treasurer oPrepare statements of accounts oFollow-up and remind on collectibles oDisburse unit funds as authorized oRecord and report all cash receipt and disbursement Liaison with Treasurer of Units and the Diocese Assists the Parish Chair, as assigned 5Local Officers

Ecclesiastical Territory An Ecclesiastical Territory refer to a Prelature, Apostolic Vicariate, Diocese, Archdiocese each administered by a Bishop. We often call this as a Diocese A CFM Diocese is composed of at least two CFM Vicariates A CFM Vicariate is composed of at least CFM parishes. The Vice Territory Director succeeds Director when his/her term ends. He/she is elected by the Vicariate Coordinators (if any), the Parish Chairs (if any), and Unit Leaders. Moreover, the Parish Chairs must belong to different vicariates. The Vice Director can either be a Solo or a Couple. The Director appoints the Territory Secretary and the Treasurer A Territory Director is qualified to vote for the Executive Vice President if there are at least four (4) CFM Units, see above. Units in a Territory with less than four units shall be assisted by the Director of the nearest “full-pledged” Territory. 10Local Officers

DUTIES - DIRECTOR Visits the Parish during their parish assembly at least once a yeat. Presides over the Diocesan Board Meeting Attend Area Execom meetings Resolve issues in the CFM Parishes Organize Programs in parallel to that of National Conduct step-ladder training for new leaders Elects the Executive and the Area Vice President 11Local Officers
