8 Township’s Responsibilities  Review Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), make corrections and appeals if necessary  Conduct outreach to those affected by changes to the FIRMs  Adopt floodplain regulations that meet the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) requirements or be suspended from NFIP

23 In the 2014 reporting year for the MS-4 program there were 518 outfalls. This consisted of public and private outfalls. The Township is only responsible for public outfalls; 8 outfalls are public, all others are private. Springettsbury Township monitors 25% of the outfalls each year.
