RESEARCH CONCLUSIONS 70 % or more of 11 th graders who participate in Advanced Placement classes raise their standardized test scores from NJASK8 to HSPA 11 for the past three years. 11 th graders who participate in Advanced Placement classes score about 200 points higher than students who take College Prep courses on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). 11 th graders who participate in Advanced Placement classes have an easier time getting into college because of their higher SAT Scores and their more rigorous course load. 11 th graders who participate in Advanced Placement classes take more AP course their Senior Year. Many of the students take more than one course.
