OASIS Mentor Practicum Encourage students to think critically & question belief systems, while still honoring home cultures & identities Curriculum: Understanding oppression through the lens of Harro’s Cycle of Socialization (Readings for Diversity & Social Justice) Racism, classism, multiracial perspectives, LGBTQIA perspectives, sexism, & ableism Developing strategies for social change & promoting Harro’s Cycle of Liberation (Readings for Diversity & Social Justice) Before helping others, important to understand & help yourself first
