3
Engineer Training Machine Overview TJ8300 / TJ8500 Confidential 3 TJ8300 Overview The TJ8300 is a wide format digital printing device. The TJ8300 works with inkjet technology. The concept of the machine is based on using RIP files and printing them with various pre-print options. The machine can be operated by a single person. The machine is designed to work in a queue mode with different jobs. It can run one job after another automatically, even though the parameters are different for each job. The machine is designed to work with a variety of substrates. The machine works with roll-to-sheet.

37
Engineer Training Machine Overview TJ8300 / TJ8500 Confidential 37 Loading System Roll-to-sheet (RTS) This unit prepares the substrate sheet for printing by loading it from the substrate roll, cutting it and transferring it onto the drum.
38
Engineer Training Machine Overview TJ8300 / TJ8500 Confidential 38 Drum The drum holds the substrate sheet (using vacuum suction) during printing. The drum rotates, with the substrate sheet on it, until the printing covers the entire substrate length.
39
Engineer Training Machine Overview TJ8300 / TJ8500 Confidential 39 Printing Device (Bridge) The bridge consists of 3 main parts: Bridge Motion – responsible for bridge movement during print. Ink system components – responsible for providing ink for IJ heads. IJ drivers – receive the printing data from the computer and “pass” it to the IJ heads. This unit controls the actual printing on the substrate that lies on the drum.
40
