1 Web of Knowledge Tracking a good article Who else has used this paper?

2 Cited reference searching Unlike most other databases, the cited reference list of each article is included in all Web of Science records, and this enables a number of valuable and unique search functions associated with the linkage between citing and cited articles.  Navigate backwards in time by linking directly from an article record to its cited reference list.  Navigate forwards in time by identifying the articles which have cited an article since it was written.  Directly search, using information about a given paper, in order to identify more recent papers that have cited it.  Directly search on a particular author to identify the citation impact of all their publications.
