Web of Knowledge Tracking a good article Who else has used this paper?
2
Cited reference searching Unlike most other databases, the cited reference list of each article is included in all Web of Science records, and this enables a number of valuable and unique search functions associated with the linkage between citing and cited articles. Navigate backwards in time by linking directly from an article record to its cited reference list. Navigate forwards in time by identifying the articles which have cited an article since it was written. Directly search, using information about a given paper, in order to identify more recent papers that have cited it. Directly search on a particular author to identify the citation impact of all their publications.
