Question: What is Hoopla? Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, television shows, educational/instructional videos, documentaries, full music albums, and audiobooks using your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Question: How do I sign up? Click Sign Up and agree to the terms of service. The site will show the participating libraries in your area. Choose the correct library.

Question: How do I sign up? Enter your library card number. Click Continue.

Question: How do I sign up? Enter your email address and create a password. This will be what you use to sign in to Hoopla in the future. Click Continue.

Question: How do I check out music? Once you have found the album you would like to check out, just click the Borrow button.

Question: How do I listen to music? You now have the option to play the album on your device. You can return it early, if you choose.

Question: How do I check out television shows? Once you have found the show you would like to check out, just click Borrow. Be aware that TV shows check out one episode at a time.

Question: How do I watch television shows? Once you click Borrow, you now have the option to click Play. This screen also shows you how long you have the episode checked out.

Question: How do I download the app ? Search for “Hoopla” in the app store appropriate for your mobile device. Click Install and then Open, once the app has finished installing.

Question: How do I listen to music ? You can choose to Download the album to the app. You can also click on a song to start listening instantly.

Question: How long can I have things checked out? Most movie and TV content is available for 72 hours after you borrow it. Music albums are available for 7 days. Audiobooks are available for 21 days.
