Remove Newer Version If the Truecrypt version is NEWER than 6.1 (such as 6.1a) YOU MUST use Add/Remove Programs To REMOVE the NEWER version! What is the next Step?

Install Truecrypt 6.1 Run the Truecrypt V 6.1 Program Installer THEN Run the install for either P: drive (Single drive) or P: & S: drives (dual drives) or External drive What is the next Step?

Test the Traveler After completing the Traveler Install and formatting the Truecrypt volume here is how to test your Traveler drive. Continue

Test the Traveler With the Flash-drive connected you will notice a shortcut on your desktop named ‘StopTrav.cmd’ This is used to unmount the Truecrypt volume as drive R: After unmounting remove the flash-drive. When you re-insert the flash-drive AutoRun should prompt you… Choose ‘Run Traveler Mode’ Continue

Test the Traveler After choosing ‘Run Traveler Mode’ You will be prompted to enter the password for mounting the Truecrypt volume. You will also be asked if you want to Share the volume on your network. Continue

You are Done! You should now see the Mounted ‘R:’ drive With the name ‘TADISKT’ From ‘My Computer’ Your Traveler is now ready to use! Congratulations!

From your Programs list look for the Group named TrueCrypt Continue

Open TrueCrypt, from the Help Menu select ‘About…’ The window that opens will display the version number Continue
