3. Advantages  Input from more than one individual can opens up multiple possible courses of action  An individual often cannot process as much information as a group  Group members can bring unique knowledge and skills to the decision making process

4. Disadvantages  Frequently takes longer than for an individual to make a decision  Discussions can get heated when multiple experts are involved  Pressure to agree can outweigh the importance of finding the “best solution”
