3. Year 5 Litter Picking Lately, in geography in year 5 we have been outside, litter picking. To make it more interesting we made it into a competition. Each house went together to find as much litter as possible. We split in to smaller groups of 2 or 3. Each had a glove, bag and possibly a litter picker. When we collected back we used a force meter to find out which team had the heaviest bags of litter. St. Andrews team won with roughly 4500 grams of litter. All together we collected about 12,200 grams of litter.
