GRANTfinder Funding Survey 2013 Demographics - Recipient coverage included European Commission, national government, local authorities, charitable trusts, corporate sponsors - A total of 33.3% of respondents had funding programme budgets of £100k - £500k - 31.1% had budgets that exceeded £500k with 13.3% having budgets between £1m-£5m - Completed by 53 funding practitioners

Funding Survey Key Findings Why do applications fail? - ineligibility of applicant (67.3%) - viability of organisation (64.6%) - beneficiary groups not eligible (61.2%) - poor standard of presentation (56.3%) - viability of match funding (54.2%)

Funding Opportunity Community First Programme: Neighbourhood Matched Fund - Government Funded Initiative by the Community Development Foundation. High Street Ward has been awarded £34,000 over four years to fund local community projects.

Funding Opportunity Community First Local Plan priorities - Improve the health of residents - Address anti-social behaviour - Bring different communities closer together - Enhance the physical environment Deadline for applications 20 December 2013. Applications for £250 to a maximum of £2500. Voting for short listed projects commences February 2014.
