PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE Be able to use Safe Harbors as the primary data source for your Performance Reports starting in January 2012 3

PURPOSE Our community measures system-wide performance (HEARTH). Agencies able to meet Commerce and HUD funding and reporting requirements. Long term goal: Reporting requirements consolidated to reduce reporting burden. 4

Testing Phase 5 June: train agency staff and contract monitors to pull data from Safe Harbors July – Dec. 2011: Compare data in Safe Harbors to data on agency reports as submitted; resolve issues Fall 2011: Reconvene as necessary for feedback and further discussion. January 2012: Implement reimbursement tied to program data in Safe Harbors

Comparing data in SH to funder reports Contract monitors pull ad hoc reports from Safe Harbors at reporting time. Agency staff have the ability to pull the same ad hoc reports and review them at any time. Ad-hoc reports will show: Total # active individuals and household served during the reporting period # new ind. and HH served during the reporting period # ind. and HH exited during reporting period 6
