4. Bats Help the Earth If we did not have bats, our planet would be swarmed with mosquitoes. Bats eat up to 600 to 900 insects an hour. Bats eat mosquitoes, cut worms, June beetles, stink bugs, and leaf hoppers.

5. Attracting Bats Bats need a place to rest at night. Trees are good, but if you have no trees you can build a bat house. Also night blooming flowers attract insect which attract bats. You can see there are many ways to attract bats, and bats go through many changes in their life cycle. Now you know how to attract bats to Clark Elementary.
