1. Webster’s Dictionary HOPE “To long for with the expectation of obtainment; to cherish a desire with expectation; trust; reliance; desire accompanied by expectation of or belief in fulfillment.”

2. N.T. Christianity is “faith-based.” The evidence compels us to believe. We believe because we have hope of what it promises.

3. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Heb 11:1

4. …in hope against hope (Abram) believed, in order that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, "So shall your descendants be." And without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body,

12. We are a “hopeful” people. Our hope is steadfast in God. We believe He is real, His word is true, and all He has promised those who are faithful will eventually come to pass.
