2. Proverbs 1:8-9 8 Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching, 9 for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck.

3. Romans 13:11 11 Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

4. Romans 13:12 12 The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.

How do you stop walking these places?

8. How do you kill sin? 1.Ruthless rejection of all your sin… a)Don’t tapper off, contain, control, coddle, excuse, blame others for, or play games with sin. b)Confess it… Call your sin “sin”. James 5:16 and 1 John 1:9-10 2.Preach the gospel to yourself. a)Sin assumes we don’t believe Christ will provide. b)Law based motive to reject sin is not the gospel. c)Gospel motive – Driven by Love…
