Baseplate has many through holes for mounting the parts. Pressure regulator is attached to baseplate using 2 #10-32 nuts and bolts. The female threads are on the bottom of the regulator. Check valve and Hand-turn Valve are mounted to base plate using pipe clamps, and #10-24 nuts and bolts. The hand-turn valve is mounted onto a Mounting Block. Solenoid is held in place using a standard L-bracket, which was cut to fit. The L-bracket is held to the solenoid and the baseplate with 3 ¼-20 nylock nuts and bolts. Pressure Sensor sits alone near the plate. Stainless Tubing is used to connect the hand-turn valve to the pressure sensor. Plastic tubing is used to connect the following ports. Assembly of the plastic Tubing is detailed on the following page. Normally open port of solenoid to inlet of pressure regulator Normally closed port of solenoid to one inlet of check valve Second inlet of check valve to vacuum source Pressure regulator to Nitrogen Source Solenoid to AN T-fitting Hand-turn valve to T-fitting T-fitting to vent port

1. Flare one end of the tubing: 1.Hold the tube over the heat gun until softened 2.Open slightly with a pen 3.Press against AN fitting to make a 37 degree flare 4.Let cool with AN fitting firmly pressed into the plastic 5.Pull AN fitting away 2. Assemble the components in the following order as shown in the picture above: 1.Ferrell facing the flare 2.Nut facing the flare 3.Nut facing the un-flared end 4.Ferrell facing un-flared end 3. Flare un-flared end of tube Nut Ferrell Flared End
