The Dice Game  Roll the die six times and keep track of what number you get each roll.  Each roll of the die is one incidence of sexual activity.  1in 6 chance of getting pregnant.  Anyone roll a 6? Pregnancy Vocabulary  Fertilization- the joining of an egg cell and sperm cell  Embryo- the rapidly dividing mass of cells formed in the first three months  Placenta- an organ that provides nourishment to the embryo by absorbing nutrients and oxygen from the mother’s bloodstream.  Umbilical cord- a thick cord where nutrients and oxygen are passed from the placenta to the embryo
