the Ancient Egyptians were one of the most important civilizations of the past. they were famous for Tombs, monuments, mummification and pyramids The Ancient Egyptians lived along the banks of the River Nile They live in around 5000 BC

In the Egyptian times they believed in lots of gods not just 1. Name: Bes. Bes heals women who are pregnant.

T he Nile is 6,000 km long and is the longest river In the world It flooded every year which made the land really rich in the world nutrients which was good for growing crops The Nile is used for food such as fish People used it for travelling to and trading with other countries

the farmers grew wheat, barley, vegetable, figs and melons. They also grew flax which was made into Linen for clothes There were 3 seasons They harvest corn with wooden sickles.

It was very important that the people that are dead were wrapped in cloth to protect them. The ancient Egyptians called it mummification it was developed by the Egyptians. Mummification could take up to 70 days. Mummies were a person wrapped in cloth they may look scary but all they were was people. But only the rich people could afford the process of the mummification. The Egyptians believed that they needed protection in the after life..
