2. Launching the App To turn on the iPad, press the Home button Find the Geometry Designer app and tap on it. Tap “New Document” to start a new canvas.

4. Drawing a Line A line is defined by two points. Tap the. Select line. Tap the canvas (to dismiss the popover). Then tap on the canvas to draw your points. A line appears when you are done.

5. Editing the Line Drag one of the points with your finger and move the line. Double tap on the line. Tap“Color.” Use the sliders to change the line’s color. Tap “Done” and then tap the canvas.

8. Measure an Angle An angle is defined by three points. The first endpoint, a vertex, and the second endpoint. Tap the. Select angle. Tap the canvas. Tap on the three points on the screen. MAKE SURE that the second point you select is the point that the line and segment have in common.

9. Measure a Length Tap the. Select length. Tap the canvas. Tap on the line segment. Move one endpoint of the line segment. Notice how both measurements change.

10. Construct a Midpoint Tap the. Select midpoint. Tap the canvas. Tap on the line segment. Drag one of the endpoints of the line segment around. Notice how the midpoint moves too.
