4. December 10, 2004 Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission adds 57 projects to the STIP worth $159 million launching the Smooth Roads Initiative portion of “Smoother, Safer, Sooner”

5. February 2, 2005 Commission awards 32 Smooth Roads Initiative projects worth $87 million Commission also awards two accelerated projects worth $9.6 million

6. June 21, 2005 First SRI project is completed in Camden County on Route 54 at the Lake of the Ozarks

7. July 1, 2005 The first dollar of Amendment 3 revenues is collected for MoDOT! By then, 123 projects worth $358 million were already under contract
