* New objectives sorted into Year 1, Year 2, Year 3/4 and Year 5/6. * Many of the new objectives are not new but have been moved e.g quite a few have moved down to make it more challenging for pupils. * Much bigger emphasis on grammar, punctuation and spelling. * Spellings specified for each year group. * More emphasis on spoken English e.g Debating
