S TERNOCLEIDOMASTOID Origin: Anterior surface of sternum and upper surface of clavicle Insertion: Mastoid process of temporal bone Motion: Pulls head to one side, flexes neck or elevates sternum Uses: Praying & looking up and down Body Location: Neck
