13. The charge to our planning commission is simple: 1. Ascertain where and what we are. 2. Determine where we want to go and what we want to be. 3. Decide the best ways we can get there.

16. V. Determine strengths and weaknesses… 1. Attempt to look at these from a stewardship perspective. 2. General consensus of 15 strengths in no particular order. 3. General consensus of 15 weaknesses in no particular order.

18. VI. Prioritize strengths and weaknesses. A. Consensus. B. Rating method.

19. VII. Conduct listening sessions to share priorities of strengths and weaknesses and to allow membership to make suggestions.

20. VIII. Develop one year, three year, and five year plans—both from stewardship and pastoral perspectives. A. One year plan to include 5 priorities from weakness list, plus maintaining top 5 strengths. B. Three year plan includes 10 priorities from weaknesses, plus maintenance of top 10 strengths. C. Five year plan includes all 15 from both lists.

21. IX. Ongoing evaluation and adjustments. A. An annual exercise through retreat or meetings or sub committee to re-issue one year, three year, and five year plans. B. Communicate modifications to membership.
