3. Tú commands Negative tú commands are made by: 1. Conjugating the infinitive into the present tense yo form. 2. Use the “opposite vowel” rule: 3. If the verb form ends in –ar, change it to “es”. (No hables) 4. If the verb form ends in –er/ir, change it to “as”. (No comas) 5. NO –NO-NO – use “no” to make it negative.
