10. Applications Fruit –Apples and pears –Manually applied stretch film with corner posts, took 10 minutes to wrap pallet, labor and time were issues –3M solution wraps pallet in a minute. Loading containers for export shipment (24 pallets) took 1.5 hours with stretch film and now 15-20 minutes with stretchable tape system. With column stacked pallet, boxes tend to spread out at top of pallet and stretchable tape contained and stabilized load better than stretch film –60 pallets per day
