4
Invitations You can choose from over 150 templates or choose a blank template. Both options can be customized with logos at the top and bottom, as well as location, when, where, title and additional information about the event.
5
Scheduling Emails Through Cvent Use Cvent’s automated email scheduling tool to schedule emails to go out on a set date and time. We recommend sending out 1 – 2 invitation reminders to give invitees another opportunity to register for the event and an event reminder which goes out to everyone who is registered for the event to help decrease your no show count. Automatic confirmation and regret emails also go out when someone registers or declines the invitation.
6
Content Analysis The content analysis feature allows you to check whether certain words or phrases in your email are at risk for being caught in any SPAM filters. You will be able to see which words and phrases could cause delivery problems, and also see how high they rate on the 10-point scale.
7
Email Blasts: Newsletters There are many types of emails you can send out of Cvent, including newsletters. You can now create your newsletter template in the Administration section and copy it into any event to send out to your members.
8
Email Blasts: Membership and Sponsorships You can also send out email blasts about things such as sponsorship or volunteer opportunities, etc. When sending emails through Cvent, you can also personalize the emails by using data tags such as first name.
9
Sponsorships You can promote event sponsors by placing logos on invitations. You can advertise this as an incentive to potential sponsors as an bonus of sponsorship with the chapter
10
New Feature: Table Management Cvent now allows you to create tables and assign seats to registrants for events. There are reports you can run to see who is sitting at each table and you can also drop table data tags into emails to registrants with their table and seat numbers.
11
New Features: More Flexible Survey Questions Cvent has added more flexible and dynamic survey question types and functionality from Cvent’s stand alone survey tool to the events tool. There are new question types including matrix questions, file uploads, etc. There is also a new account level question library for storing and copying questions from event to event. These questions can be used during the registration process, the post event feedback survey, the regret and cancellation survey pages

Cvent Supplier Network Search the database of over 75,000 venues and service providers. You can narrow search results by meeting space size, venue type, and chain affiliation. You will get detailed information for each venue, including places of interest nearby and detailed information about the available meeting rooms within the venue. You can then create an RFP and send it out to an unlimited number of venues. The venue can respond directly through Cvent, so you can compare bids, award or turn down the RFP and run analysis reports.
13
Anyone can sign up for a free planner account Any meeting planner can sign up for a free planner account so they can search for venues, send out RFPs and receive responses.
