THE MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED BY THE FAMOUS ARCHITECT EERO SAARINEN. IN 2001 A 50 MILLION ARCHITECTURAL ENHANCEMENT WAS ADDED, DESIGNED BY SANTIAGO CALATRAVA. THE TIME MAGAZINE NAMED IT "THE 2001 BUILDING OF THE YEAR". THE GULL-LIKE WINGS CAN BE RAISED OR LOWERED TO LET THE SUNLIGHT IN. THE ART COLLECTION IS ALSO VERY IMPRESSIVE. I PERSONALLY FELL IN LOVE WITH THE BUILDING.
