Subject Pronouns Subject pronouns are (usually) the first word of a sentence. Subject pronouns are: Singulier (one person)Pluriel (plural/multiple people) I Je/J’We Nous You TuYou/Y’all Vous He/She/it Il/Elle/onThey Ils/Elles

Conjugating We have to change verbs to fit the subject pronoun! This means get rid of the final –er (which means ‘to’) and put: -e-ons -es-ez -e-ent

Things to know: There are two types of verbs: – REGULAR: They follow the pattern – IRREGULAR: They do not follow the pattern What is the pattern? – You drop the –er (to) from the verb and add for the subject pronouns: Je/j’ _________eNous _________ons Tu _________esVous _________ez Il/Elle/on _________eIls/Elles _________ent
