4 Judith dean ● Judith Steinberg grew up on Long Island in the town of Roslyn outside New York City, and graduated from Princeton University[1] with a bachelor's degree and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine. It was at the latter university that she met fellow student Howard Dean. ● After completing a fellowship in hematology at McGill University in Montreal, Steinberg moved to Burlington, Vermont, with Dean in order to set up their joint medical practice. They were married in 1981. She kept her maiden name "Dr. Steinberg" while in her practice to differentiate herself from her husband. ● As her husband served in the Vermont House of Representatives, and as Lieutenant Governor and Governor, she remained working full-time in her practice. She did not campaign with her husband in his quest for the U.S. Democratic presidential nomination in 2004 until after he lost the Iowa caucuses. ● The Deans have two children, Paul and Anne, both of whom have been raised in the Jewish faith.[1]

5 Joyce hannam Having graduated from Oxford University with a degree in English Literature, I then trained as a secondary school teacher and worked in a London school for a year. Deciding to move from literature to language education, I then trained in ELT in London and spent several years in London (private language schools) and then Athens (the British Council) teaching both General English and Business English. In Athens I also worked as a Cambridge examiner. On moving to York, I started to teach Academic as well as Business English and began writing English Language Readers for Oxford University Press. I also started to work as an IELTS examiner and took an MA in English language in Education at Leeds University. I now spend half of my time teaching for CELT and the rest of the time on both examining and writing work for Oxford University Press, IELTS and the Cambridge English International exam suite.

7 The curse of the mummy ● I am going to talk about the curse of the mummy by Joyce Hannam. ● The story is about a boy called Tariq. He is in the Valley of the Kings with Mr Carter to find the tomb of Tutankhamun, but the work is not easy, because they have only one year to find the tomb. ● One day some visitors came to the Valley of the Kings. Tariq met a beautiful girl called Anne. Four months later, Tariq found a step in the sand, then they dug very quickly and they found a door. The door was not open because had seals on it, the seals of Tutankhamun. Some people think the spirit of Tutankhamun came to kill then but Tariq is not afraid. Lord Carnavaron and his daughter came to open the door. The next day they open the door, they saw a lot of beautiful things and a golden shrine. When they open the shrine, there was the mummy of Tutankhamun, now Tariq is afraid of the spirit of Tutankhamun because a lot of people have died. At the end Tariq came back to Cairo. Six or seven years later Tariq saw Anne in the museum and then they worked there. And Tariq and Anne got married.

8 Things in common ● In both stories the story takes place in a desert ● Are two books fantasy ● we talk of curses, the genie in Aladdin is cursed not being able to get out of the lamp and remaining imprisoned. And in the curse of mummy the pepole die because of the curse
