Scores and Percentiles (Rainbow Report) Criterion-Referenced View Scores and Percentiles (Rainbow Report) Criterion-Referenced View AIMSweb Defaults: Interpreting the Cut Scores for R-CBM and M-CAP: Green: Students have an 80% probability of passing a typical state test. Yellow: Students have between a 50- 80% probability of passing a typical state test. Red: Students have less than a 50% probability of passing the “typical” state test (non-state-specific); thus, it indicates that the student is generally at risk for success, according to Pearson’s research. Each grade and measure has a cut score for fall, winter, and spring. 12
