Our Response: Repentance Matthew 3:1-2 – John: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” Matthew 4:17 – Jesus: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Our Response: Repentance Luke 13:3,5 – “but unless you repent you will all likewise perish” Luke 24:47 – “repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations”

Our Response: Repentance Acts 17:30 – God “now commands all men everywhere to repent” II Peter 3:9 – “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance”

Conclusion What a great God that we serve. A God that is longsuffering, desiring that we be saved. Yet, we must be willing to repent. Changing our lives to reflect Christ STOP sinning & START living for God

Conclusion In the first gospel sermon Peter preached a message of salvation, he preached repentance, Acts 2:37-38 – (37) “What shall we do?” (38) “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins”
