How can we define social injustice? Social injustice is the unfair treatment of people in society. What examples can you give of social injustice? Describe at least 3 in your book. LO: To explore what is meant by ‘social injustice’ Racism? Sexism? Ageism? Unfair imprisonment? Poverty? Oppression by governments?

How could we use the poem and the quote to explain the importance of social justice? The poem was written by German Pastor Martin Niemöller about the cowardice of German intellectuals following the Nazis' rise to power and the purging of their chosen targets, group after group.
