WEIGHT OPTIMIZATION OF PULL HANDLE By Shanti Metal Technology
3
Objectives To optimize weight of the pull handle and verify the maximum deformation and stress occurred in design model.
4
Actual Model CAD Model at Initial. Pull Handle made by Brass material and having 286 gms weight.
5
Meshed Model of Initial Design Type of Elements: 3D Tetra with 10- noded Total no of elements: 67526 Total no of nodes: 118375
6
Applied Loading Conditions for Initial Design 3 Kg of load is applied represented with blue color. Translation and Rotation in X,Y & Z directions were fixed represented in red color. Translation in Y direction was fixed represented in pink color.
7
Deformation plot for Initial Design Maximum Deformation of 0.0354 mm occurred.
