Setting goals is a great way to better yourself and achieve success, but setting vague, unrealistic goals can lead to frustration and a lack of results. When making resolutions, think about setting goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and are in a time-frame. It’s not too late to turn your resolutions into healthy habits! Make 2014 a HAPPY and HEALTHY year! Jog-a-thon Reminder: Due to bad weather the 2014 Lovett Elementary Jog-a-thon has been rescheduled for THIS FRIDAY January 31 st during ancillary time! Don’t forget to continue to collect pledges for Trees for the Track. Friends and Family are welcome to come out and support their Lovett Wellness Warrior! Family-Friendly Commitments: 1.Soda Swap: Want to cut out soda? Start by having 1 cup less per week, decreasing your soda intake weekly. 2.Junk Food Toss: Want to eat healthier? Start adding vegetables to every meal Steer clear of fast food and take out. Avoid eating out more than once a week. 3.Movin’ and Groovin’: Want to be more active? Go for a family walk twice a week or turn on some music and have a family dance party. 4.Stock Your Piggy Bank: Want to save money? Start by saving a small amount in a safe place every week. 5.Give A Helping Hand: Want to help others more?
